Introducing Bleepify Music Mode: Clean Songs Without Killing the Beat
Making a clean version of a song used to mean compromise.
You could mute the whole track and lose the drums. You could add a bleep and hope it landed on beat. Or you could open a full audio editor, hunt for the exact lyric, cut the vocal manually, and spend way too long trying not to ruin the song.
Today, Bleepify is launching Music Mode: a new workflow for creating clean versions of songs while keeping the instrumental intact.
What Music Mode does
Music Mode is built for songs, not just spoken audio.
When you upload music, Bleepify can separate the track into two parts:
- Vocals: the sung or rapped lyrics
- Instrumental: the beat, bass, drums, melody, and backing track
Then Bleepify transcribes the isolated vocal track, detects the words you want to censor, applies your censor effect only to the vocals, and remixes the clean vocal stem back with the untouched instrumental.
The result is a clean edit that keeps the energy of the original song.
Why this matters
Traditional profanity filters treat a song like one flat audio file. If you mute a lyric, you also mute the kick, snare, bass, and melody happening at the same moment.
That can make a clean edit feel choppy.
Music Mode changes the workflow:
- Separate vocals from instrumental.
- Find explicit lyrics from the vocal stem.
- Bleep, mute, or replace only the vocal section.
- Remix with the instrumental preserved.
For DJs, creators, schools, and event teams, that means clean versions that sound more natural and are faster to make.
Built for real use cases
Music Mode is useful anywhere clean music matters:
- DJs and wedding vendors making family-friendly sets
- Schools preparing dance, pep rally, or event playlists
- Creators cleaning audio for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and YouTube
- Roblox and gaming communities avoiding explicit audio issues
- Fitness instructors building clean workout playlists
- Brands and agencies keeping social content safe for campaigns
How to use it
Inside Bleepify, upload your song or music video and choose Song / Music during setup.
Bleepify will handle the separation, transcription, lyric censoring, and remixing flow automatically. You still get control over which words are censored and what censor style to use.
You can choose classic bleeps, silence, sound effects, or other available censor options depending on the style you want.
Why we built it
Bleepify started by helping creators remove profanity from videos quickly. But a lot of users wanted something more specific: clean songs that still sounded like songs.
That required a different architecture.
Instead of censoring the full mix, Music Mode separates the audio first, edits the vocal stem, and preserves the instrumental. It is a more music-native way to make radio edits.
