Make your bleep
48 kHz · 16-bit mono WAV · Short fades included
Generated in your browser. No signup, upload, watermark, or attribution required. You can use this generated tone in personal and commercial projects.
Three steps to a better censor edit
1. Mute the original word
Cover its first and last sounds. Leaving the original audible underneath a beep can expose the word.
2. Place your bleep
Import the downloaded WAV on another audio track. Match its length to the muted section and adjust its level to the dialogue.
3. Listen in context
Check the full sentence on headphones and speakers. Review captions and any on-screen text separately.

Bleep sound questions
Can I use this bleep sound in commercial videos?
Yes. Bleepify gives you permission to use the generated tone in personal and commercial projects without attribution. The tone is synthesized in your browser, not sampled from a song or movie.
Does placing a bleep over a word remove it?
No. The word may still be audible underneath. Mute or reduce the original word to silence first, then add the bleep on another track and review the whole sentence.
What file format do I get?
A 48 kHz, 16-bit, mono PCM WAV with a short fade at each end. Import it into an editor that accepts WAV audio, then adjust its level and position to fit your edit.
Can Bleepify find and censor the words for me?
The generator only makes a sound. The Bleepify app transcribes uploaded audio or video and lets you review words and apply bleep or mute effects. The free speech tier includes 10 processing minutes per month; Music Mode needs paid access.
